Oktobrī norisināsies Apvienotās Igaunijas-Latvijas teorijas dienas

No 12. līdz 14. oktobrim Rīgā, Raiņa bulvārī 19, norisināsies Apvienotās Igaunijas-Latvijas teorijas dienas.

Joint Estonian-Latvian Theory Days in Riga

October 12-14, 2018

Estonian Computer Science Theory Days started in 2002 and have been organized biannually since then. In Latvia, a similar event, Computer Science Days, has been organized several times since 2011. The first joint Estonian-Latvian Theory Days were held in 2010. This year, we (the Faculty of Computing, University of Latvia, with the help of our Estonian colleagues) are organizing the sixth such event. The main goal of the Theory Days is to let the theoretical computer scientists of our two countries to get acquainted with the work of each other (however, people from other countries are welcome to participate as well).

In particular, the main audience is intended to be the graduate students in the roles of both listeners and presenters.

The event will take place in Riga, at the Faculty of Computing, University of Latvia (19 Raina Blvd., 3rd floor) from October 12 to October 14, 2018 (with the talks beginning at 12:00 on Friday, and ending at 16:00 on Sunday). Riga can be reached conveniently by various means of transportation including buses, trains, airplanes.

The participants are expected to book their own accommodation.

Riga offers many different hotels and hostels, and it is convenient to select the best suited one e.g. by online booking services.
