Until the middle of November, a “homestay” has been announced in Latvia, – it means that we must spend more time indoors, and therefore take up an even more sedentary lifestyle. To maintain a lively spirit and fit body, the UL students and employees have an offer from the UL Sports Centre to join the morning gymnastics! It is held online in Latvian language, but everyone can follow the example of coach and benefit from a chance of easy workout.

Morning gymnastics will take place every working day, headed by experienced fitness coach:

On Monday, Wednesday, Friday – at 8:00

On Tuesday, Thursday – at 8:30

 

On the other hand, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:10 lunchtime exercise or gymnastics for employees and students will be offered – a simple exercise that can be performed in office outfit. Regardless of whether we are in a "lecture", "at work" or at home – we can connect to the to exercise, move and then resume work or studies! Exercise duration – up to 15 minutes, – a small and useful break!


After a long day of work, everyone is invited to participate in remote fitness training under the online guidance by coaches. The trainings will be varied in intensity, which can be enjoyed and implemented both by hardened athletes and beginners.

Online fitness workouts will take place:

On Wednesdays at 18:15 – yoga,

On Thursdays at 17:30 – Strong Body training.


Morning gymnastics, lunchtime exercise, as well as the remote fitness training will be held in Latvian language on the Zoom platform. You will be able to connect to any workout by following this link (at the respective times indicated above):

In addition to online training, once a week – on Tuesdays, at 18:00, we will publish a General Physical Fitness training video on the Facebook page of the UL Sports Centre.
